I just *love* making granny squares. It’s such a relaxing, fulfilling activity.
This past weekend, when I visited the junk store, I found this fabulous book for $1!
The Woman’s Day Book of Granny Squares and other Carry-Along Crochet (1975)
So many silly projects in here (dog jacket, a men’s tie (!!!)), but there are some really beautiful motifs as well.
This coming weekend, I hope to try out a few of the patterns.
…. not that I need any more granny squares laying around my house ;)
